December 12, 2014 - Life on the Farm

We lost the 2 Khaki Campbels to a hawk. Ducks are dumb--they sleep with heads tucked under a wing in the open pasture.

The remaining Black Runner has fallen deeply in love with the Black Star chicken. :-( The chicken tolerates her. Hopefully the duck will follow the chicken's example and not sleep in the open pasture.

September 28, 2014 - Ducks

Three ducks are laying regularly and giving us plenty of quacks.
