Here's the pond in March 2008-ten years old.

The fish continue to grow a little--it's most noticeable when you get close to them. We haven't added any new fish in the past several years because of all the diseases out there.

We lost one long-fin fish last year from what appeared to be dropsy--swelling up. Since that fish didn't have scales (doitsu) it was hard to pinpoint since dropsy usually make the scales stick out like a pine cone. Everyone else is doing fine this spring.
