In this section I'll show you some examples of transforming an image into something more using a photo editing tool (Adobe Photoshop). You may decide that original pictures are better, but these methods give you some options.

Here is the original scan for a field of lupine and dandelion buds in Oakhurst.

Here is the same picture with some color adjustment. I usually use "Image > Adjust > Variations" in PhotoShop to make color changes. In this case, the flowers were selected separately from the background.

And here is the picture with PhotoShop filter "Artistic > Cutout" applied.
